A bill submitted to the State Duma simplifies the taxation of corporate property. The document is aimed at reducing the reporting burden on business.
Companies are to be relieved of the obligation to self-calculate corporate property tax, transport tax and real-estate tax based on cadastral valuation. Tax authorities will produce the calculations and send them to companies on a quarterly basis.
Under the draft, the rules take effect from 1 January 2027 and, according to the drafters, reduce administrative costs for business.
