Moscow to spend RUB 1.7 trillion on transport through 2027

The Moscow city government will allocate RUB 1.7 trillion to transport infrastructure development from 2025 through 2027, with more than RUB 600 billion to be deployed by year-end 2025.

Moscow authorities will allocate RUB 1.7 trillion to transport infrastructure development from 2025 to 2027, Deputy Mayor Vladimir Yefimov stated. More than RUB 600 billion will be deployed by year-end 2025.

Since 2011, Moscow has built or reconstructed 123 metro stations, commissioned 255 km of lines and 14 depots, and put more than 1,500 km of roads into service, including 400 km of elevated roadways.

Seventeen new metro stations are currently under construction and another fourteen are in design. Four stations on the Troitsky radius are scheduled to open in September 2025. About 270 km of new roads will be commissioned by end-2027.
