Direct Russia-Philippines flights resume in October 2025

Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that direct Russia-Philippines flights will resume in October 2025, operated by IrAero from Irkutsk and Khabarovsk.

Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that direct flights from Russia to the Philippines will resume in October 2025. IrAero will operate the route from Irkutsk (from 25 October) and Khabarovsk (from 28 October) on Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft with technical stops in China.

Air links between the two countries were suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Philippines welcomed more than 27,000 Russians in 2024 (+19 % vs. 2023); January-July 2025 saw nearly 18,000 visitors (+16 % year-on-year).

The resumption is intended to stimulate tourist exchange and grow mutual passenger flows.
