Moscow is building 17 metro stations at once, deputy mayor Vladimir Yefimov said. Two of them — Dostoevskaya and Golyanovo — are on existing lines.
The other 15 are being built on new lines: 8 stations on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line, with Zvenigorodskaya, Narodnoye Opolcheniye and Bulvar Generala Karbysheva opening first. 3 stations on the Biryulevskaya line — ZIL, Ostrov Mechty and Klenovy Bulvar. 4 stations on the Troitskaya line — ZIL, Krymskaya, Akademicheskaya and Vavilovskaya.
By 2030 Moscow plans to build another 30 stations, and by 2035 — twice as many.
