Moscow to invest 1.7 trillion roubles in transport by 2027
The city authorities will allocate 1.7 trillion roubles to develop transport infrastructure between 2025 and 2027. By the end of 2025 more than 600 billion roubles will be spent.
Since 2011, 123 metro stations, 255 km of lines and 14 depots have been built or reconstructed; over 1,500 km of roads have been laid, including 400 km of flyovers.
17 new stations are now under construction and another 14 are being designed; in September 2025 four stations of the Troitsky radius will open; by 2027 around 270 km of new roads will appear.
